Hi there. I plan to purchase FL Resident Pixie Passes in advance of our trip. I understand that the passes only take effect the first date we use them, but can I make park pass reservations once I make my purchase? Without having gone to will call yet?

    Hiya Priscila!

Welcome to planDisney! I am very excited to get an Annual Pass very soon as well. It has been a long time since many could purchase new ones and boy am I eager to get my hands on one.

While doing some research on the benefits of having an Annual Pass I found that while the term year does not start until you activate it at any four major Theme Parks, Water Parks, or Disney Springs it does allow you to make Theme Park Reservations. Remember that with the Disney Pixie Dust Pass, you are allowed to make and hold up to three Theme Park Reservations at a time and you do have some blockout dates.

Once you make your Theme Park Reservation you can purchase Genie+ or join a Virtual Queue if you are interested as well. The strategy that I am going to do is that I will arrive at Walt Disney World and the day before my first Park day head to Guest Relations at Disney Springs and activate my Annual Pass. That way, on the day of my Park visit I can just head right in and experience it fully with no delay.

I hope this helps and that you make many magical memories! Let me know if you have any questions!

Hey, it's Nimmy from New York! Just like my guy Jiminy Cricket I am your wisecracking and helpful guide to making the best decisions for your Disney vacation! My husband and I work very hard to journey to our favorite place on Earth, Walt Disney World Resort, as much as we can. We have traveled as just adults, with babies, kids, teenagers, and senior citizens. We have seen so many characters, eaten at amazing places, and consumed a ton of Dole Whips. So "give a little whistle" and let me be your guide! Learn More About Nimmy
