Hiya, Bonnie!
Fantasmic! is one of my favorite shows at the Disneyland Resort. And purchasing a Dining Package is my favorite way to enjoy it too. You are going to love this amazing entertainment spectacular.
To be honest, if I purchased a
Fantasmic! Dining Package that would likely be my priority for the day. My family recently visited on a day when we also had booked the
World of Color Dessert Party. If our
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance Boarding Group had been called during
World of Color we would have opted to stay at Paradise Bay watching the show. Depending on how things line up, you may need to make a choice between two activities that could conflict.
Nevertheless, there is some flexibility designed into the Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance Boarding Group virtual queuing system. When you are notified that your Boarding Group is invited to join the Resistance, you will normally have a two-hour window to make your way to the entrance of the attraction. If you happen to be in the middle of enjoying your Dining Package meal when your Boarding Group is called, you should have sufficient time to finish your meal and proceed to
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Also, if your Boarding Group is called prior to your dining reservation and your experience on the attraction takes longer than anticipated, you will likely find that the restaurant will be able to make some accommodations in seating you a few minutes late.
Tony’s Tip: The duration of Fantasmic! is 27 minutes. I recommend arriving 30 to 60 minutes before the show begins to choose your viewing location. You will also need to plan for some time after the show to move to your next destination. If you are heading to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge after the show, I would guess 10 to 15 minutes would be needed. To enjoy Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, you will need at least 30 minutes for the attraction. I recommend planning for at least one hour to account for possible delays due to
First Order activity in the area. You may use those approximate times to help plan your attraction experience to hopefully enjoy everything you have planned.
I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Bonnie!
