Hey there, hi there, ho there, Ed! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney.
I couldn't be more excited to see that the magic is calling, and you plan to answer the call by becoming a
Walt Disney World Annual Passholder. Woohoo! A year of magical memories and pixie-dusted Passholder perks is coming your way!
In my opinion, the biggest benefit of being an Annual Passholder (besides getting to return to the magic time and time again) is the discount on Disney Resort Hotel rooms. To take advantage of any current Passholder room discounts,
call a helpful Cast Member with Disney Resort Hotel Reservations, and they will gladly search for availability and book your stay right over the phone. If you plan to do a split stay and stay at two different Resorts (my favorite type of stay!), they can book both rooms for you. When making a room-only reservation, your deposit will be the cost of one night's stay plus tax, and the Cast Member will let you know exactly what the charges will be. Your balance can be paid any time you'd like, but it is due on check-in day.
Just be sure to
purchase your Annual Pass online before you call to make your Resort room reservation, and be aware that you will have to activate your Annual Pass at a
Guest Relations location outside one of the theme parks or in Disney Springs before you check into your Resort to take advantage of the discount. Don't forget your photo ID!
More exciting news is coming your way, Ed! Tickets for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party go on sale for Guests with a Resort reservation tomorrow, July 16th! If you don't have a Resort reservation booked yet, you can purchase party tickets beginning July 22nd. After you purchase your Annual Pass online, just head right on over to the
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party page on the Walt Disney World website to select your merriest night and purchase your tickets.
One more thing, Ed! Always keep a close eye on the
Passholder Offers, Perks & More page on the Walt Disney World website for the latest and greatest in pixie-dusted perks and discounts. Welcome to the Passholder family, Ed!
I hope this was helpful, Ed, and I hope you have the merriest and most magical visit and year ahead. Please stop by any time with any questions you have.
Stay Merry and Bright,
Mandy
