I plan on proposing to my partner during our trip to Disney this year. I was trying to think of more private or quiet areas to propose at, besides the castles wishing well. Any ideas or places in either of the parks would be super appreciated!

Hi, Grayyson! Welcome to planDisney. Thank you so much for stopping by with your question. I'll be absolutely honored to help you out with this all-important milestone!

I'd like to start by saying that I think of myself as a "love expert", so you definitely came to the right person! What I want to accomplish today is that your proposal is about as perfect as Kristoff's was, but without all the trials and tribulations he went through before Anna gave him the most important "YES!" of his life. Are you ready?

Since you'd like to pop the question at a quieter area, you'll definitely want to avoid asking right in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle, but there is a perfect spot right by the castle! This place is called Snow White's Grotto, and you'd probably walk right by it if you weren't looking for it. It's tiny, quaint, and super quiet, so it's ideal for you!

At Disney California Adventure Park, you could plan for a perfect sunset proposal by the Carthay Circle Fountain. It's iconic, beautiful, and quiet, unlike Paradise Gardens Park, which is usually packed with people.

Grayyson, I would also like to take this moment to suggest that you book a Capture Your Moment session. These sessions are completely personalized, and the amazing PhotoPass photographers will make sure to search for the perfect spots and lighting to make the photos look absolutely gorgeous. To book one of these sessions, you'll need to check for availability through the Disneyland mobile app and call (714) 781-6316 in order to let them know about the surprise in advance.

I wish you and your partner a lifetime full of love, magic, and wonder! Good luck, Grayyson! If you need anything else, please don't hesitate to come back so we may assist you further.

    Have a magical day,

    Ana Paula
