Hello !!! I would like to plan a princess birthday. Wondering, if it's possible during this covid time. She will be 9. We will be there 10/7-10/11. If not, what can I plan. To make her birthday be special.

    Hi Evelyn!

    Welcome to planDisney!

Happy Birthday to your sweet girl. My daughter will be turning nine in just a few short months, and she is hoping to spend her Birthday at the most magical place on earth!

Unfortunately, at this time, many experiences are on hold due to the ongoing pandemic. I would typically recommend experiencing the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Magic Kingdom or Disney Springs or an In-Room Celebration with Disney Floral and Gifts. Even though these experiences are on hold, there is still plenty more magic in store.

If your daughter loves Disney Princesses, you could put together your own in-room celebration! I would recommend getting some party supplies before you leave and hide them in your suitcase. When she falls asleep on the eve of her Birthday, you can quietly set up the room. I’m envisioning a banner hanging, a table cloth, a cute centerpiece, confetti on the table, and even balloons on the floor. You could even visit your local Disney Store and pick her up her favorite Princess dress and hang it on the bathroom door. May I suggest giving her a Princess makeover in the room before leaving to visit her favorite Theme Park? Curl her hair, put on pretty pink lipstick, and pin a tiara in her hair. You may be able to find a special cupcake in your Resort hotel dining area. Lastly, check with Guest Services as they may be able to give her an “I’m Celebrating” pin!

I am sure that she knows just how much you love her. Your efforts will make her feel like a true Princess!
