Hi Holly ~
A solo trip is a great way to explore Disney World! My favorite thing to do when traveling solo is to take one of the behind-the-scenes
tours. My favorite is the Backstage Magic tour. Its approximately 7 hours long and you get to go behind the scenes of all 4 theme parks and more! I LOVE seeing how all the magic comes together.
I also love the Keys to the Kingdom Tour at Magic Kingdom. You get to tour the utilidors and learn about details of the park that often go unnoticed. You'll look at the "world" in a whole new light after taking these tours. To book a tour call 407-WDW-TOUR. Be sure to book early and ask if they are offering any discounts when you book.
Another great experience is
Dining with an Imagineer. I did this solo and loved it.
Being solo also means you can take advantage of the attractions that offer "single rider" lines like Test Track, Rock 'n Roller Coaster and Expedition Everest. Some table service restaurants offer counter service which is nice if you feel awkward dining alone and you can do that without reservations if space is available.
Traveling solo allows you to go at your own pace. You can take your time and take in all the details. Explore attractions you've never seen before or ones that are often overlooked. I usually do a lot of shopping when I'm solo. Don't forget to take pictures of yourself - Guests and Cast Members will be happy to help you out.
Pamper yourself with a day at one of the awesome
spas at Disney. Traveling solo means its all about you!
Please feel free to visit with any other questions. We're hEAR for you!
Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
