Can I plan and pay over time for a cruise at a future date. I'd like to plan it at least 6 months ahead of time.

Ahoy there, matey! Welcome to planDisney where we are happier than Jack Sparrow captaining the Black Pearl to aid in your vacation planning.

As a self-proclaimed long-range planner, I love this question! You'll find that Disney Cruise Line sailings are typically posted and available approximately 15 months or more in advance. Should you choose to, you can already book a Very Merrytime sailing for 2024! You can also keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog where new itineraries are announced!

Now, whether you're hoping to visit Disney's private island, Castaway Cay, or maybe feel the breeze from the cool Alaskan waters (or anything in between), you can secure your reservation with a deposit and then pay over time. Your final payment will be due 120 days in advance of your sail date for trips 6 nights or longer and 90 days in advance for cruises 1-5 nights in length. Your deposit to book your trip will be 20% of your total cruise cost. The further in advance that you book, the longer you will have to pay for your vacation

As you're considering your perfect itinerary, make sure to check out all of the stateroom options aboard your ship. From inside staterooms that help you stay within a budget to Concierge-level rooms with indulgence in abundance, I know you'll find the perfect fit. In the meantime, if you have any other questions, just point your compass in the direction of planDisney. We'll be waiting with answers.

    Wishing you a Magical voyage,
    Lauren

My husband and I became Disney Vacation Club Members because we love visiting the Disney Parks and with hectic day-to-day schedules, wanted to prioritize time away for our family. The options at the Walt Disney World Resort make each trip unique and I am excited to help other families build vacations with those unforgettable moments.
