If we plan on being at a park at opening should we be able to go straight to some of the more popular attractions and get to ride? so should we schedule our fp for later in the day?

    Hi Robyn!

We are early morning park goers, and typically use Extra Magic Hours (when staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel) to our advantage.  We always plan to get there and use that time to experience some of the more 'popular' attractions while other guests are still sleeping.

Depending on how you plan out your day--spending time in a certain area of the park to minimize walking, for example--you can get quite a bit done before 10 am!

I dislike using the word 'strategy' when planning a vacation, but having a plan does help minimize walking and waiting.  I'd definitely make sure that you sit down and take a look at things that you 'must do' and either prioritize those things for first thing in the morning, or, if they are spread out, utilize your FastPass+ selections for those attractions/experiences.

    Have a magical vacation!
