Well hi there Lena, and a very warm Canadian welcome to planDisney!
If you're like me, I spend a lot of my time during the winter dreaming of the warm, sunny skies at Walt Disney World Resort and ways to soak up as much sun as I can. From the sounds of it, you've got quite the adventure ahead of you with your goal of hitting multiple
Theme Parks in one day; I'm so glad that you came here to ask me as I consider myself to be a seasoned Park-Hopping Pro, happy to bestow my strategies and knowledge to fellow Hoppers!
You'll be happy to hear that you will not need to book your transportation in advance in order to take advantage of the
Park Hopper Option; we love being able to take all of the forms of complimentary
Disney Resort Transportation available throughout our day. Even my fellow Canadian friends and family who choose to stay off-property can take advantage of parking for free at
Disney Springs in order to take a bus to a nearby resort before heading to their desired Theme Park. I spoke with a Cast Member who was a member of the transportation team who let me know that Resort Transportation typically continues operating for two hours after the posted closing time. In my personal experience, this has been very helpful when we've found ourselves in long standby queues long after the park has closed!
Here are some of my Top Tips and Royal Recommendations for planning a successful sojourn across multiple Theme Parks in one day:
- Like any journey spanning distant lands, check the Hours & Events Calendar to confirm opening and closing times; they will be available closer to the particular day you're looking for. As of my most recent multi-park day this past week, Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park had the earliest closing time while we ended the night late at Magic Kingdom Park.
- Make sure that your entire expedition party has Theme Park Reservations for the one you'll be starting your day at. At the present time, Park Hopping is only available after 2:00 PM and as with many things at Walt Disney World Resort, is subject to change without notice.
- If you're considering a visit over to EPCOT, it is by far the easiest to make your way to and from Magic Kingdom Park on the Walt Disney World Monorail System, and even further afield to Disney's Hollywood Studios via an easy, breezy Disney Skyliner ride.
If you're game to take on the challenge, it's definitely possible to visit all four Theme Parks in one very long adventurous day -
feel free to come back to planDisney to ask me how we accomplish this and any other tips to help you with your upcoming trip!
Wishing you all the best on your quest and Happy Hopping!
