Kids at Beaches and Cream

    We plan to park epcot and stay for fireworks. After that, we have a reservation at Beaches and Cream at 9:30. If we use the International Gateway, will we be able to get back to our car? Or, should I try to park at the Beach Club before I go in?

    I'm excited you'll be visiting EPCOT on your upcoming trip! The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival will be underway and the menus for this event have recently been released. I suggest taking some time to look them over and map out which festival booths you plan to stop at!

    With the two entrances at EPCOT, it can be a bit tricky when making your plans for the day. If you park at EPCOT, the only way to get back to your car is by exiting at the main entrance in front of the park. Since you have reservations at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop, the easiest way to get here is by exiting the International Gateway entrance and walking to this dining location. Since EPCOT typically closes at 9 PM each night, you will not be allowed back in after this time. Your best bet will be to grab your car and park your vehicle at Disney's Beach Club Resort for your reservation.

    You would normally have plenty of time to do all of this, but if you want to stay for the firework display, you'll need to consider some other options. EPCOT Forever is scheduled to begin at 9 PM and lasts about 15 minutes. This will not leave you much time to get your car and make it in time for your reservation. I suggest trying to modify your reservation for a little bit later in order to give you time to move your vehicle to the Beach Club Resort parking lot. Otherwise, you could park your car at Disney's Hollywood Studios instead of EPCOT, and take the Disney Skyliner to the park when you arrive. Then, after the firework show, you can walk over to Beaches & Cream Soda Shop for your dining reservation. If the Skyliner is still running after you eat, you can then take it back to Hollywood Studios to get your car. You also have the option to take the walking path from the Beach Club Resort to Hollywood Studios. It's about a 15-20 minute walk but you'll be ensured to get back to your car when you are finished with your meal.
