Hi there, Jess!
Welcome to planDisney. We're so glad you've stopped by with an excellent
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question! I'm always excited to help a fellow Michigander plan their perfect Disney Parks getaway. Let's chat about how to get connected with the other members of your travel party!
Jess, it sounds like you've already linked up with the rest of your group via the
Family & Friends functionality in My Disney Experience. You'll want to make sure that you've enabled plan-sharing in the My Disney Experience mobile app. To do this, tap the "☰" icon, scroll down and select "Profile," then tap "Family & Friends List." Select the group member in question, then select "All My Plans." This should enable you to view one another's plans, even if you aren't sharing a Disney Resort hotel room or other reservation type. Now, they should show up under "My Planning Party" in
My Disney Experience.
As long as you're connected via your Family & Friends List, you should be able to include each member of your travel party in your plans, Jess. You're well within your booking window for dining reservations and
Enchanting Extras Collection offerings, so I encourage you to check availability for any activities of interest as soon as possible! The only thing better than visiting the Walt Disney World Resort is experiencing it alongside your friends and family, so I recommend booking a few activities together to maximize the magic.
Jess, I hope you've found these recommendations helpful, but if you still experience technical difficulties after this, I encourage you to reach out to the friendly Cast Members at the
My Disney Experience, MagicBand and MagicBand+ phone line for additional support. Alternatively, if you have more planning questions about your upcoming trip, you can always find us here again at
planDisney. We're all ears!
See ya real soon,
Lauren
