Oh, Stephanie! I'm so excited for you and your husband to experience your very first Disney Cruise! I bet you're counting down the days. One of my favorite ways to prepare for an upcoming Disney Cruise is planning my outfits, so I think we just become best friends.
Stephanie, I promise you will not miss out on any of the exquisite
rotational dining venues, as Guests get to experience each of the three themed locations while on board (and sometimes, more than once!). You will easily find your dining schedule and table number on your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App when you arrive on board. This is also where the
night's theme will be noted. You'll likely have one (or two) formal nights, depending on the length of your cruise, and one pirate night.
I know it can be difficult to wait for all the magical details, so in the meantime, get a taste of your particular ship's dining locations by visiting the
Disney Cruise Line website. Locate your ship from the "Our Ships" drop-down and select "Dining". For instance, on the
Disney Wish, I love wearing a classic black and white for my dinner at 1923, to honor the original studio that started it all.
At the end of the day though, you'll find that Guests on a Disney Cruise are quite varied in their attire, so as long as you aren't wearing swimwear to dinner, let your conscience be your guide and wear what feels most comfortable to you!
You're going to have the most magical time, Stephanie - I just know it! Say "hi' to Mickey Mouse for me!
Your pal,
McCayla
