Hi Aleisha!
Kudos to you for planning so far in advance! I have two little kiddos myself and absolutely know the necessity of planning. October is a great time to visit, as it will be
Halloween Time at the
Disneyland Resort! Both
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park will have special Halloween-themed attractions, decorations, food, and entertainment! A very popular event during September and October is the
Oogie Boogie Bash. This is a super fun Halloween Party! Last year's event had awesome trick-or-treat trails throughout Disney California Adventure Park. I'm sure the 2022 event will be just as exciting! Tickets to this event typically go on sale during the spring-summer, so keep your eyes and EARS open!
But back to your initial question! Mickey's team of health and safety experts are closely monitoring the health and safety conditions throughout the Disneyland Resort, and adapting
COVID-19 health and safety protocols appropriately. Currently, the Disneyland Resort strongly recommends that all Guests eligible to be fully vaccinated do so or obtain a negative COVID-19 test before entering the theme parks. BUT this is a strong recommendation and not a requirement. The only requirement as of today is that all Guests (ages 2 and up) are required to wear facial coverings when indoors. This would include shuttles, buses, shops, restrooms, and indoor attractions. If you are outdoors, facial coverings are optional for all Guests.
As you begin to plan for your amazing Disney vacation, please come back if you have any additional questions! We'd be more than happy to help!
See ya real soon!
