Hi Jill! Welcome to planDisney!
What a special visit to the Walt Disney World Resort that you have coming up for you and your daughter! Bonding time reaches a whole new level when it takes place at the Most Magical Place on Earth. I'm sure you are both very excited about all the memories you will make together.
Disney's All-Star Movies Resort is a great choice for an overnight stay! I always recommend staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, but it is especially important for a quick trip because you'll want to soak up as much magic as possible in those 48 hours. An on-property stay is just the way to do it!
When you purchase a 2-day
Walt Disney World theme park ticket, you really do get two full days for the theme parks! Even if your hotel check-in isn't until the afternoon, you can arrive at the theme park's opening time and start enjoying the fun right away. You can also stay all day in the theme parks on your second day, even after you have checked out of your resort. Just make sure that you make your
Disney Park Pass reservations for the theme parks you are going to visit each of those days (or the first theme park you will visit if you have the Park Hopper Option ticket) since you currently need both a valid ticket and a reservation to enter the theme parks.
You are welcome to visit the
Front Desk of your resort when you arrive on the first day to see if your room is ready early, but if not, no worries! You can leave your luggage with Bell Services and they will be happy to hold it while you head out to start your adventure!
I hope this helps, Jill! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Tabitha
