Hello, I want to plan my next Disney cruise but I can’t find my deposit ($250=10%)

    Welcome aboard, Marxen!

It sounds like you’re asking about your Onboard Booking, a special offer to those on a Disney Cruise Line vacation to secure a future Disney cruise with a reduced deposit and additional savings on the total cost of the cruise. How exciting, that means you’ve already had a chance to experience some of the magic at sea! I’m happy to help you locate this deposit and clarify the next steps so that you can chart a course for your next adventure.

The Onboard Booking offer is exclusively available to reserve during your cruise through the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. This enables you to make a set deposit (currently $250, subject to change) and secure a future savings of 10% on your next Disney Cruise Line Vacation. By completing this process, you will have received an email summarizing the policies of this reservation and your payment receipt. I checked my own recent Onboard Booking confirmation and found the email from “Disney Cruise Line” with the subject of “Onboard Booking Confirmation for” and the reservation number at the end. I suggest you search your email for this notice as a first step as you won’t find the open reservation listed in your Disney account on the Disney Cruise Line website the way you see specific itinerary reservations.

The next step is to call Disney Cruise Line and they will help connect this Onboard Booking to an actual itinerary and finalize the reservation for you. At that stage, you will be able to see and manage the reservation within your Disney account online and in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App as you’re used to doing for a previous cruise. If you didn’t find the email with your deposit, you may also call Disney and they can search your records for this key information.

Please remember that you have 24 months to sail from the date this Onboard Booking was made, Marxen. A great place to start finding your next destination is the Disney Cruise Line website where you can filter the search tools on the main page by sail date, length of cruise, departure port, destination, ship, and more to personalize your results. New itineraries are typically released around 18 months in advance. If you don't see what you're seeking, stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for announcements of new itineraries.

I always reserve an Onboard Booking during my sailings, as it’s a wonderful way to save on a future vacation knowing that you’re going to have an amazing time! Life happens, so if by chance you are unable to sail before 24 months you may receive your deposit back (cancellation policies apply if you’ve already committed to an itinerary).

I hope this helps you find your buried treasure of a future cruise deposit and gets you well on your way to the next magical adventure at sea! Please let us know how else we can help you make the most of your next Disney Cruise Line vacation.

    Happy planning!
    Amy
