Hi, if I plan on mobile ordering food, will I be able to use gift cards through the app to order, or will I have to use my debit card?

    Hiya Jacob,

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for your question about Disney Gift Cards. I never go on vacation to Disneyland Resort without a Disney Gift Card. They are perfect for staying on budget and cashless payments.

Yes! You can pay for Mobile Food Orders using Disney Gift Cards in the Disneyland mobile app. Unfortunately, currently, you aren’t able to add a Disney Gift Card in the mobile app as a saved payment method like your would your debit card. To pay using the Disney Gift Card, you must input your card number each time you want to use it for a mobile order. One of my fellow panelists, Kamini, recommended adding the number to your notes section of your phone and copying/pasting it each time instead of manually typing it. I love this tip because part of the fun of mobile ordering is saving you time; if you have to stop and enter a long number each time, you aren’t saving as much time as you could be.

Now all you need to do is figure out what delicious treats you want to mobile order! You can't go wrong with a churro and a DOLE Whip, in my opinion. I hope this was helpful, Jacob.

    Happy Planning,
