We plan on going to MK on 8/20/10 in late morning. Do you think we would be able to watch the 3PM parade and then catch a bus to Cape May Clam Bake for 5PM ADR and then back to Contemp for the pirate voyage at 8:30pm? Have kids ages 5 & 7? Thank you!

Yikes LouAnn!  You are planning a very busy schedule during your vacation!  It is certainly possible but it will also be tiring and especially in a hot month such as August. Energy is zapped faster in the heat and that is also when kids can become a bit cranky so be careful and try to make each event on this day as stress free as possible!

If you choose to watch the 3pm parade in the Magic Kingdom I suggest you find a spot at the end of Main Street so you will not have to work against crowds to leave the park.  Head to the bus area and hop on the first Beach Club bus you see.  You should have plenty of time to get there for your 5pm reservation at Cape May.  Dinner is a buffet so you can take as much time as you wish for your meal. You might enjoy walking around this resort for a bit to see if it is a place you would like to stay during a future visit.

When you are ready to head back return to the bus area of the resort and catch a Magic Kingdom bus again.  When you arrive at the park it is a short walk to the Contemporary (or a short monorail ride). Enjoy the Pirate Fireworks Voyage cruise!  It is a lot of fun and a great way to see the Magic Kingdom fireworks.

You have an ambitious plan but also a plan full of lots of fun and adventure!
