If we plan on going to MK on the day we have party tickets how does it work? Do we have to queue up at 4 to get our bands as where do we queue if we’re already in MK? Thanks

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Sarah!

Welcome to planDisney! We are DELIGHTED you stopped by and are honored to help you plan your upcoming trip to Disney World! In just a few short weeks, you’ll be strolling down Main Street, U.S.A., where twinkling lights glow, joyful music fills the air, and holiday MAGIC sparkles all around. Soon you will be sipping hot cocoa and soaking in all the merry-and-bright fun. Get ready, because your festive Disney countdown is almost complete, and the holiday Ho-Ho-Ho's are about to begin!

Ooooh, this is such an exciting question because it means your holly-jolly night at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is just around the corner! Since you will already be enjoying a day at Magic Kingdom, there’s no need to leave and re-enter for the party. Starting at 4:00 p.m., Cast Members MAGICALLY open up wristband distribution stations right inside the park. While locations can change, you will usually find them in places like Tomorrowland near Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor, Fantasyland near Mickey’s PhilharMagic, and Adventureland by Pirates of the Caribbean, plus the front of the park if that’s more convenient. Just show your party ticket (whether it’s on your MagicBand, card, or phone), and you’ll be given your special party wristband, marking you as one of the lucky guests staying for all the festive fun.

The GREAT thing is that you don’t have to waste time waiting in line at the entrance. You can keep soaking up the holiday happiness and then simply grab your wristband when it works best for you. Once that band is on, you’re golden! You can stay in the park after 6:00 p.m. when day guests wave goodbye, and the snow begins to fall on Main Street, U.S.A. From there, it’s all about sipping hot cocoa, nibbling on cookies, watching jolly parades, and enjoying fireworks that sparkle as brightly as a Christmas star.

As you approach your pixie-dusted arrival, make sure you check out the Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date information regarding all things Disney. Mickey and his pals have some AH-mazing surprises planned, and we don't want you to miss any of the fun!

If you have other questions, please do not hesitate to ask. We are here to help in any way we can!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
