Hello from TO! I would like to plan a meal at Animal Kingdom in October, are there any locations that you can eat at and sit and see the animals? Any recommendations with a 9 and 11 yr old? thank you for all your help, only 78 days to go!!!!!

    Hello from Montreal, Susan!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question. I love it when the vacation countdown is in the double digits too!!

Unfortunately, I don't believe that any of the table service or counter service restaurants at Disney's Animal Kingdom have the kind of view you're looking for. However, if you're open to leaving the Park and taking a short bus ride to Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village, you'd be able to enjoy a feast at Sanaa, one of my favourite restaurants on Disney property. There, you can dine and watch animals such as giraffes and zebras roaming the Sunset Savanna that surrounds that Walt Disney World Resort hotel. Between the beautiful setting and the delicious food (mmmm... naan bread...), I don't think you can go wrong with chosing to dine at Sanaa during your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World.

If you'd rather not leave Disney's Animal Kingdom or if Sanaa's menu doesn't appeal to your family, then my favourite table service restaurant in Disney's Animal Kingdom is probably Yak & Yeti Restaurant. If you'd rather have a counter service meal, then I would recommend either Flame Tree Barbecue or Harambe Market.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
