Hello! We plan on making our 3rd trip to Walt Disney World Thanksgiving weekend this year. Our other visits have been in the summer time. Are the crowds in the parks usually about the same for both time frames? Thanks!

Hi Tekisha!  My husband is from Texas!  It's July, so I'm betting it is nice and hot down your way right about now.

And you know Walt Disney World is hot in the middle of July since you have experience visiting the Walt Disney World parks during the heat of summer.  So, you are in for a TREAT visiting the parks in November!

This is our favorite time to go to Walt Disney World for so many reasons, but mainly because the weather is nearly always wonderful!  And, the beautiful decorations that are up for the holidays make the parks and resorts even more magical, if that's at all possible!

November crowds are historically low during November, up UNTIL the week of Thanksgiving.  Thanksgiving weekend crowds have historically proven to be high, much like the summer months.  However, the crowd level usually returns to low the week following Thanksgiving.

We have always found, however, that the lovely decorations and amazing weather more than make up for the extra large crowds and longer waiting times.  And, thankfully, Disney has been instituting some great ways to make your experience waiting in line for attractions go by much faster (or at least they seem to!).

I hope your third trip is a charm!
