I plan on making reservations at blue byou when we go to DIsneyland. I had Bariatric Stomach surgery so can only eat small amounts. Will I be able to share with my husband instead of only eating a small portion of a full meal?

Greetings, Leland, and thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m so glad you’re hEAR! It’s always a pleasure helping my fellow Californians plan their next magical visit to the Disneyland Resort!

A meal at Blue Bayou Restaurant with a loved one is always a good idea! So, I’m glad to hEAR you’re planning ahead for it, since reservations tend to book up rather quickly. As you may already know, you can go ahead and book your reservation online or on the Disneyland app up to 60 days before your arrival. You shouldn’t have a problem sharing a meal with your husband. Just explain to the Cast Member serving you that you’d like to split your meal, and there will be a split-plate charge. If you have any other questions about your meal, feel free to call Disney Dining at (714) 781-3463.

With your March 1 arrival date, it looks like you should be able to check out the all-new “Magic Happens” Parade, which begins on February 28! This will be Disneyland Park's first new daytime parade in nearly a decade! Get ready to cheer on Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Sven, Olaf, Moana, Miguel, and more favorite Characters in this special celebration of magical moments from legendary Disney stories.

Please stop back with any additional questions, Leland, I’m all EARs!

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Greetings from sunny California! I live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder (and now a Magic Key Passholder) for more than 20 years! As a mom of three kids ages 5-10, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Learn More About Kristin
