We plan on going to Magic Kingdom after 2PM when the park hopper option is available, because we do not arrive until 3:00 at Disney. Do I need a reservation?

    Hello Ann!

I can tell that you are getting ready for some fun days in the Walt Disney World theme parks! I love park hopping on my Walt Disney World vacations!

Presently, Guests can park hop after 2:00 pm as long as there is park availability for the park they are going to. You will need to make a Theme Park Reservation for the first Walt Disney World theme park you plan to go to on a particular day. So in your case, you would need to make a Theme Park Reservation for the Magic Kingdom Park. You must enter the first theme park that you have a theme park reservation for before you are eligible to park hop on that particular day. If you decide to park hop after going to the Magic Kingdom Park, you do not need a Theme Park Reservation for the theme park that you are park hopping to. You can check the Park Hours Calendar or the My Disney Experience app for the most up-to-date park hopper hours for each theme park.

I hope that you have a magical Walt Disney World vacation!
