We want to plan a last minute one day trip to Disney in June.1night stay at a hotel June 1. One day park attendance on June 2. The website says only Epcot passes are available. We really want to go to the Magic Kingdom. Is there a waiting list?

I totally understand, Jessica. Sometimes we just need a vacation, right? Last minute or not, Mickey and his pals always sound like fun!

While there is not a waiting list for park reservations, one option is to make like a stalker and check the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar several times each day. You are definitely not the only one who makes last minute plans; your persistent checking may result in securing another Guest’s cancelled reservation.

If that strategy, too, fails, you might consider adding the Park Hopper Option to your park tickets. While this is not a sure bet because admittance is based on capacity availability, you might start your day at Epcot and then hop over to Magic Kingdom promptly at 2pm. Like I said, this is not a guaranteed route to success, but we have heard from several Guests who are exercising the Park Hopper Option to visit a theme park that they haven’t been able to secure a reservation for.

I’m wishing you all the luck in your quest, Jessica!
