Plan lands at 3pm, Sun 10/17/10. Staying at the Polynesian. Family of 6--2 adults, 4 kids (6,4,2yo twins..all boys). Any recommendations on where to eat that first night? Also, taking Mag. Express--estimate on hotel arrival time? Thanks!!!

This sounds like it's going to be an incredible vacation!  I've done it with all girls, but never all boys!

Let's start with Disney's Magical Express.  Assuming you are having the cast members from Magical Express claim your bags, you may be on a shuttle as early as 3:30 and on your way!  I always like to allow at least an hour once you depart the Orlando International Airport until you arrive at your destination.  This can be affected by traffic and other factors, but an hour is a good estimate.

I would say where to eat depends on what type of experience you are looking for!  I highly recommend 'Ohana, which is a great family style restaurant, where you might be able to catch a view of the fireworks from the Magic Kingdom while you dine.  They also usually have something for children - a coconut race, for example - so it helps keep the kids a bit entertained so you can relax and linger a bit over dinner.

Another option right at the resort is Kona Cafe, which I usually recommend as a breakfast location, but dinner there is just as wonderful.  I got one of the best steaks I've ever eaten at Disney World there on one vacation!

You could also hop over to Downtown Disney and enjoy something the boys might really enjoy if they are dinosaur fans.  T-Rex is a prehistoric dining treat where you will see all sorts of throwbacks to the stone ages!  Another fun location at Downtown Disney is the Rainforest Cafe.  It has the same type of
animatronic, over the top theming as T-Rex, but with animals you'd find in the rainforest.

Some restaurants book quickly, so when you decide, call 407-WDW-DINE to book your reservations.

    Have a really wonderful vacation!
