Hi there, and welcome to planDisney! It's great to have you sail our way with your question.
The only thing better to me than a Disney Cruise Line vacation is pairing a Disney Cruise with some time at the Walt Disney World Resort. When it comes to combining the two into one magical vacation, you have a couple of options.
I find it helpful to first decide which sailing you would like to enjoy by searching on the Disney Cruise Line website. Hover your mouse over the "Plan a Cruise" tab and select the "
Find a Cruise" link. You'll be able to set filters for cruises out of
Port Canaveral during your desired month. Once you have a cruise in mind, you can then decide if you'd like to enjoy
Walt Disney World before or after your sailing. While many of my panelist pals prefer to go to the theme parks first, I usually go to Walt Disney World after my cruise. I like having something to look forward to when I step off of the ship!
Head to the
Disney World website and take a look at the
accommodation options for you and your travel crew. It's helpful to know what interests you before you start the booking process. When it comes to booking, you are welcome to
call Disney Cruise Line for assistance. A friendly agent will help with the travel arrangements and can book your cruise, pre or post-cruise hotel nights, ground transportation, and even airfare if you'd like.
You are also welcome to book the Disney Cruise or Walt Disney World Resort portions of your vacations on your own online and then
add ground transfers for your sailing either through the Disney Cruise Line website or by calling Disney Cruise Line. Lastly, you can enlist the help of an authorized Disney Travel Planner. If you go this route, you may wish to reach out to family and friends for recommendations.
I'm wishing you a fabulous vacation! Please return to planDisney if you have more questions. My pals and I are here to help.
Happy Planning,
Adrianna
