Hey there, Sandra, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question about Bell Services!
The first day of a Walt Disney World vacation is a special kind of magic. The countdown is over, you've officially arrived, and adventure is finally at your fingertips! I don't know about you, but I like to hit the ground running on Day One. I always want to jump straight into the magic, ASAP! I see that you have big plans for your arrival day, Sandra, so let's jump right into your question.
First of all, I love that you're planning to kick off your visit with a character dining experience. There's nothing like a good meal with Disney friends to set the mood for a magical trip! With its tropical vibes and that iconic bread pudding, 'Ohana is always a solid choice. However, it's important to know that at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort,
Bell Services is intended for registered resort guests only. As a result, there is no guarantee that they'll store your luggage during your dining reservation.
This might not be the news you were hoping for, Sandra, but there are still plenty of ways to ensure a wonderfully whimsical welcome! My first suggestion is to opt for a dinner reservation at 'Ohana instead of a breakfast reservation. While you won't meet Mickey and the gang at dinner, you will enjoy some serious Hawaiian hospitality. Additionally, it's been my experience that early dining reservations on arrival day are always a little bit risky (there are just so many things that can make you late!). Booking a dinner reservation will give you a little more breathing room, allowing you to check in at Disney's Art of Animation Resort before making your way to 'Ohana.
But if characters are your highest priority (or if you just have your heart set on breakfast!), I have an alternative idea for you, too. Since you're staying at Disney's Art of Animation Resort, you'll have easy access to the
Disney Skyliner. This means that you're just a quick, 5-10 minute ride from
Disney's Riviera Resort - and my very favorite character dining location,
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera! First, head directly to Art of Animation upon arrival, and leave your luggage with Bell Services. Then ride the Skyliner to a late breakfast at Topolino's Terrace (served until 12:15 PM). You'll enjoy incredible views, some truly delicious food, and fun-filled interactions with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy!
I hope this information is helpful, Sandra, and that your upcoming visit to Disney World is filled with magic, memories, and fabulous food! If you have any other planning questions, you know where to find us right here at planDisney!
Don't be a stranger,
Allison
