Hi Kerri,
It's great to see you planning Disney at planDisney again! The
Park Hopper Option unlocks a new level of magic on your Walt Disney World Resort park days. I recently completed a four parks in one day challenge with some friends and it felt like such an amazing accomplishment! We started our day avoiding the Yeti's clutches on
Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain and ended our day 'neath a sky full of magic during
Disney Enchantment. In the words of Rapunzel, "Best day ever!"
With a theme park reservation for Magic Kingdom Park, you must physically tap in at Magic Kingdom Park and wait until
park hopping hours begin at 2:00 p.m. to enter another park. If you want to eat at
Yak and Yeti on a day that you have a theme park reservation for Magic Kingdom Park, which I fully support, I would make a reservation for 2:30 p.m. at the earliest. This gives you plenty of time to walk from the entrance of Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park to the restaurant and check in the recommended 15 minutes before your reservation.
I do not consider myself an adventurous eater, but I was proud of the variety of delicious foods I tried at Yak and Yeti with my planDisney family during our training trip last December. I could've eaten the whole plate of Ahi Tuna Nachos, the Chicken Tikka Masala tasted fresh yet familiar, and I highly recommend saving room for the famous Mango Pie or Fried Wontons.
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park typically closes earlier than the rest of the theme parks so I encourage you to seek out a
nighttime spectacular at the end of your park hopping adventure, Kerri.
Thanks for letting planDisney be a part of your trip-planning team, Kerri.
