Hello, Joanne and welcome to planDisney where nothing makes us happier than a real-life guest living out their own
Happily Ever After.
With iconic couples like Cinderella and Prince Charming and even furrier love matches like Lady and the Tramp, Disney knows how to tug on the heartstrings and celebrate togetherness. I’m so excited you’re hEAR planning and I hope I can be of help.
Now, Joanne, when you’re planning a trip but also trying to work within a budget, the concept of “worth it” becomes very personal. If you have 101 Dalmatians
(OOPS! I mean… 101 wedding tasks to complete) AND there is a bit of wiggle room in your budget, it might help your overall wedding season to allow
Disney’s Fairytale Weddings & Honeymoons to plan your trip. If you have the time and would like to save a few extra dollars (obviously to spend on those wedding-themed Minnie Ears), planning your own trip may be the better option.
Here at planDisney we are happy to answer as many questions as you have about planning the most romantic (or restful, thrilling, food-focused, etc.) trip for you and your new spouse should you choose the “DIY” route.
Joanne, if you’re still on the fence, I would recommend creating a
My Disney Experience Account (if you don’t already have one) and browsing through the list of
Disney Resorts Collection hotels for your desired dates. I’ll also link a few “must explore” pages to help not only in your decision making but in your booking if you choose to proceed without a planner:

Enchanting Extras CollectionJoanne, I hope this information helps nudge you in the best direction possible and from all of us hEAR at planDisney let me offer you an early CONGRATULATIONS on your upcoming nuptials. However you decide to plan your first vacation as a married couple, I hope it’s everything dreams are made of.
