I love sailing on a Disney cruise with a group because it adds an extra level of fun! There’s nothing like looking through the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App to find a cruise activity the whole group will enjoy together (looking at you, Silent Disco!). I would be happy to explain how your group can reserve a beverage tasting seminar during your sailing.
While you can’t reserve a private beverage tasting seminar for just your group while at home, your group can reserve one of the
Beverage Tastings that are offered in the onboard activities in the "My Plans" section of the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. If there are guests in your group who have an earlier
booking window than the rest based on their
Castaway Club status, I suggest those guests reserve this activity as soon as they can, because they fill up fast. Then, the rest of your party reserves their session as soon as their booking window opens. If a session becomes fully booked while you’re still at home, you are able to head to the
Guest Services Desk on embarkation day to check for availability.
I contacted Disney Cruise Line, and a Cast Member informed me that while there isn’t a private beverage tasting seminar you can reserve at home, you should check with the Guest Services Desk once on board your cruise to see if this is something that can be set up for your group. While it’s not a fleetwide activity, it might be something that could be done on your individual sailing, but the best place to find this information would be at Guest Services.
Lastly, whether you’re checking for availability for a private seminar or for one of the ship-wide seminars for some or all of the guests in your party, I highly recommend checking as soon as you board the ship, as beverage tasting seminars are popular.
