How much should I plan for gratuities?

    Hi, Cari!

Gratuities should be provided for exceptional service. Here are some guidelines:

-Servers at Table Service locations: 18%
    -Housekeeping (optional): $3-5 per day
-Magical Express bus driver (optional); $1-2 per guest
    -Bell Services: $1-2 per bag
-Bus/Boat/Monorail drivers: No tip, but they love a cheery "thank you" to brighten their day!
-Resort Airline check-in (at the resort on check-out day): These folks are not Disney employees. Tip $1-2 per bag
-Bartenders, taxi drivers, salon/spa technicians:  Any of these that you use should be tipped 15%

I hope this is a guideline that will help you budget for tips during your vacation. When in doubt, stop by your resort concierge for advice if there is someone in question.  And no worries, we have a "no tipping" policy here at the Moms Panel! Our services are 100% free of charge :)
