Hi, I plan to take my grand kids the weekend of March 25 for a one day adventure, do you accept AARP member discount at the booth?

Hello, David! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Currently, there are no AARP or senior discounts when purchasing tickets to the Disneyland Resort. There are lower-priced tickets for children ages 3 through 9, but everyone ages 9 and older will pay the adult price. If any of your grandchildren are under the age of 3, they will not require a ticket nor will you have to show proof of age. Also, keep in mind that the price of one-day tickets can be different depending on the date and season. Peak times like during spring break season, the summer, or the holidays are the most expensive and Value dates like weekdays during the winter and fall are the least expensive.

My best tips when traveling with kids include measuring their heights before you visit so you know which attractions they will and won't be able to ride and to pack a backpack full of snacks and water bottles. Touring the parks can be tiresome for little ones, but I find that offering healthy snacks throughout the day usually keeps them going and in a good mood.

I hope you have a wonderful visit with your grandchildren!
