If I plan to go to just the World Showcase in Epcot from the Polynesian Resort is it easier to take the Epcot monorail to the front of the park and walk back or take a taxi to Caribbean Beach Resort and walk to the WS? How far is walking each way?

Hi Tiana!  Welcome back to the Moms Panel.  The easiest way for you to get to Epcot from Disney's Polynesian Resort is to take the monorail to the Transportation and Ticket Center where you will transfer to the Epcot monorail.  Then, you will just enter at the front of the park and walk back to World Showcase, which would be about 10-15 minutes.

There is no access to Epcot from Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort.  Are you possibly thinking Disney's Beach Club Resort?  You could take a monorail to Magic Kingdom and then transfer to a bus for Beach Club, Yacht Club or Disney's Boardwalk Resort which all are located behind Epcot and you could walk into Epcot through the back at the International Gateway.  You would be walking about 10 minutes from those resorts to the International Gateway.

I"m not sure which of these options would be quickest, but my guess would be taking the monorail to Epcot and then walking back to World Showcase would be easiest.  Good luck with your decision, and I wish you a very magical Walt Disney World vacation!
