Hi, Kathleen! Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for stopping by to see us with your question.
A visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is a little different these days, so I can understand why you might find it confusing. We've all had to learn new ways to do the things that used to be second nature to us. I'll explain Disney's current ticketing and reservations system here, so hopefully it will help you get your plans on track.
When Walt Disney World reopened last year, Disney set up
a number of procedures to help keep Guests and Cast Members safe. One of those procedures was the Disney Park Pass system, which requires all Guests like us to make an advance reservation for the theme parks we plan to visit each day. As I write this, Disney Park Pass reservations are still required for entry into the parks, in addition to your admission ticket.
If you have a My Disney Experience account, you can check for your Disney Park Pass reservations under "My Plans." That's where you'll find everything from your tickets to your Resort hotel reservations to your Disney Park Pass info. If you haven't set up an account yet, you can do that on the
My Disney Experience page on the Walt Disney World website, then follow the directions on the
"Link Your Reservations and Purchases" page to link your tickets. Once you've done that, you can hop over to the
Disney Park Pass page to make your reservations. You can also take a look at the
Theme Park Reservations Availability Calendar to check for openings on the days you were hoping to visit.
Kathleen, I know all of this can seem overwhelming, so if you'd like to speak to a Cast Member, you can
call Guest Relations at (407) 939-4357. Sometimes it's just easier to have a friendly voice on the other end of the line to help you out.
I hope you find this information helpful, Kathleen. I'm wishing on a star that all of your Disney dreams come true, and that you'll come back and see us again real soon!
Kathy K.
