Hi Deona,
Welcome to planDisney!
Hooray for planning a trip to the Walt Disney World® Resort, especially since you will celebrate your little one's birthday while there! Welcome to the world of children who are no longer free at Disney - this is my world also! Understanding that budgets are real (my family is always on one), little ones ages 3-9 should have a child's
theme park ticket.
As you make those plans, I hope you are considering a stay at one of the
Disney Resorts Collection hotels. When our girls were younger, they had the most fun at the resort pools. We always planned one or two days to relax at the resort hotel.
Since you have a birthday to celebrate, be sure to make an
advanced dining reservation for the birthday and consider ordering from
Cakes at Walt Disney World Resort. Also take a look at
In-Room Floral & Gifts if you want to order some balloons for the birthday girl. If you order a cake, I suggest that you do so at the beginning of your vacation so that you will have a few days to eat it.
Deona, I hope this helps! Take a few minutes to review your options for
character meals as well. Then, make a dining reservation and
order a birthday outfit for your daughter. Keep in mind that she may want to enter the park as royalty. So check availability at
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Magic Kingdom Park and
Cinderella's Royal Table. My girls are teenagers and still love Cinderella's Royal Table. Sending a wish to the Evening Star trusting that you will get those birthday plans made!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
