Hi Gerardo,
Welcome to planDisney!
Planning a visit for New Year's Eve? How exciting! Depending on your
admission type, you may need
theme park reservations. As you might imagine, New Year's Eve is a popular time to visit the Walt Disney World® Resort. If you have park admission that requires park reservations, I suggest that you try to make that park reservation immediately. I have an Annual Pass and was able to just make a park reservation for EPCOT on New Year's Eve but availability changes at any time.
Since it will be such a busy time, I strongly recommend also booking a vacation package with a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel. If possible, book one that is within walking distance of a theme park because travel to and from the theme parks could get delayed. Since you are planning to visit EPCOT, consider a stay at Disney's BoardWalk Inn, Disney's Yacht Club Resort or Disney's Beach Club Resort.
Once you get a resort hotel booked and theme park tickets, I also recommend making
advanced dining reservations. One of our favorite dining locations is
California Grill, located atop Disney's Contemporary Resort. The food is wonderful and the views spectacular.
Gerardo, I am thrilled to see you planning such a special New Year's Eve. Know also that you are arriving right at the end of the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays Presented by AdventHealth. Keep an eye on
Candlelight Processional Dining Packages and make a reservation if you can. In the spirit of Princess Tiana, I am sending a wish to the Evening Star hoping that you are able to make the reservations you need. Start your countdown as soon as you have those plans made!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
