We plan to go to Disneyland in August from 18th to 21th we keep hearing that you must make reservations to visit the parks also will they be offering the Minnie and friends breakfast?

    Hey James!

Thanks for coming back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m glad to see that you’re still planning a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth!

You are correct! In order to enter Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park, you will need a reservation on the park reservation system. The Disneyland resort is really trying to make sure that they follow guidance from health experts and governing officials and limited attendance will ensure that these policies can be put in place. We’re still waiting on more information on when the reservation system will be available and the details on how it will work. A new reopening date for the theme parks will come sometime after July 4th so I would expect other details on the parks reopening to follow soon after.

The Plaza Inn is one of my favorite dining experiences in the parks. The Minnie & Friends- Breakfast in the Park is my favorite character meal at the Disneyland Resort! From the food options to the characters, they do it right! There’s no word yet on if this experience will be available once the parks open. If it is available, I would expect it to be different than what you might be used to in the past. Characters will still be visible and an important component in the parks, but they will be entertaining and delighting guests in  new ways to ensure social distancing and following guidelines from health experts.

Well James, things may be a bit different on this next trip but I can assure you that you will still create memories that will last a lifetime.

Remember, always believe in the Magic!
