I plan to go to Disney World May 11-May 14 is it generally crowded during this time? Also, my birthday is May 11th (first day of the trip!) and I was wondering if Disney does anything special?

    Hi Kate!

May in general is a great month to visit!  It's after the Spring Break chaos and before Summer vacation.  The weather is also fabulous as we are in full Spring swing.  You may encounter crowds on Sunday, which is Mother's Day, but it should still be relatively quiet for you.

You can pick up a complimentary birthday button from any Guest Relations window at the parks or at the front desk from your Walt Disney World resort.  If you make any dining reservations, be sure to mention it is your birthday.  A special cupcake will complete your meal!

    Have a magical day!
