We want to plan a Fourth of July 2013 vacation (hopefully its not too late) for our four year old daughter, who loves everything Disney. Do you recommend staying at a certain Disney resort for that holiday week, and for what reasons?

As far as I'm concerned, Jennifer, no particular resort outweighs another for the Fourth of July holiday week.  If it were Christmas, I would have a different answer, but for the Fourth, nothing really sets one resort apart.  If it were me, I would base my decision on budget and convenience.  Because you are traveling with a four-year-old, you might find that one of Disney's deluxe resorts on the monorail line would be the most convenient.  Of those, Disney's Polynesian would be my first choice.  If the monorail doesn't sway you, perhaps a stay at Disney's Beach Club would be ideal.  It certainly conveys a coastal feel, perfect for an Independence Day stay.  Have a great time!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
