Welcome to planDisney, Osceola! You are right;
ground transportation is important to getting your magical vacation on Disney Cruise Line started right. I'm happy to answer your question.
At the airport, the
Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport is your option for Disney Cruise Line ground transportation. If you stay at one of the
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels the night before your cruise, you also can arrange for Disney Cruise Line to provide your ground transportation to Port Canaveral. If you find yourself wanting to go ahead and get closer to the port, the Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront also offers pre-hotel stays with ground transportation. If you select one of these options, you will receive instructions on when to have your luggage ready to be taken by ground transportation and to the ship. It will be important to keep your
travel documentation, medication, and other items you may need at the port with you because you will not see your luggage again until it arrives at your stateroom later in the day.
If you choose not to stay at one of these options, there are rideshare options and other private transfers you can hire to take you directly to Port Canaveral.
Osceola, I hope this information helps you decide on your pre-cruise stay. If you have any other questions, sail back to
planDisney for answers.
Happy Planning!
