I want to plan a family vacation with seven people of which two children I want park and hotel packages

    Hello Jensen,

I'm happy to hear you're planning for your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation. The planDisney panelists are here for you and always happy to share suggestions for your plans to help you make your vacation more magical.

Let me share a few tips for how you can book your own pixie-dusted plans to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. Keep in mind that if you'd like some assistance with booking your plans, you can always call the the Walt Disney World Resort at (407)-934-7639 or chat with them online. The friendly Cast Members will be happy to assist you.

A great place to begin is to get familiar with the Disney Resorts Collection. You can get to know the Resorts, their locations near theme parks, and their unique theming. You can also check out the super convenient planDisney Pocket Guide series. You'll see there are pocket guides for several Resort hotels, and more pocket guides are coming to offer at-a-glance views of features and amenities.

If you're planning for your whole larger group to stay together, you might want to explore one of the Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts that can offer a 2-Bedroom Villa accommodating up to 8 Guests. A 2-Bedroom Villa offers a spacious and comfy layout with separate bedrooms, a living room area, a washer and dryer, and a fully equipped kitchen -- all the at-home conveniences styled in magical Disney theming. You can also make separate reservations if your travel party will be enjoying separate Resort hotel rooms.

You can book your vacation package online -- your Resort hotel stay or Disney Deluxe Villa Resort stay along with your theme park tickets -- using the convenient booking tools online. The booking tools will guide you to enter your travel dates and travel party information, select your accommodations, and select your theme park tickets.

It's always helpful to also check for any special vacation package offers that might be available to you. It's also always helpful to check the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to see that the theme parks have reservations available to select for the dates you wish to  visit.

After you book your vacation package with theme park tickets, you can link your vacation package to your My Disney Experience account, and then proceed to make your theme park reservations using the Disney Park Pass system

Jensen, I hope these planning and booking tips are helpful. When you book your trip and start planning your vacation days, be sure to ask the planDisney panelists for suggestions on what to see, do, and experience. You can also follow @planDisneyPanel on Instagram as a fun way to hear tips and updates from the planDisney panelists.

Here's wishing you a wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
