Hey there Belen and welcome to planDisney!
It's time to embark upon a marvelous adventure: planning a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort! There's a lot to learn but that's ok. I'm so happy to be able to share some of what I know with you today. Fairy GodTaylor to the Rescue! Let's dive right into the magic.
Before you do anything else, I want you to start by creating a
My Disney Experience account. This way all of your selections will be organized in one location. Setting it up is as easy as zooming down to the Briar Patch on Splash Mountain. Just tap the link above and then the green Sign In or Create Account button. Follow the prompts to set up your account and you're ready to start planning.
Pro-tip: There's a
My Disney Experience app you can download to your mobile device for use when you're on the go. It has interactive maps of the theme parks, access to Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering, and so much more.
Now that you've done that, the easiest way to plan is to use the Build Your Vacation tool on the
Walt Disney World Resort homepage. You can enter your desired travel dates, the number of Guests in your travel party, and even which
Disney Resorts Collection hotel you'd like to make your home away from home. If you aren't sure about that last part, leave it set to All Resort Hotels. When you tap the View Rates button you'll get lots of hotel options and you'll be able to choose which ones suit your family best. From there you can choose to create a vacation package with a room and theme park tickets. You'll then select the number of days y'all will need tickets and customize them. Follow all the prompts until it's time to make your purchase. Directly after you've bought your vacation package, go ahead and make your
Theme Park Reservations via the Disney Park Pass System. Then all the major things will be set.
Pro-tip: You can make your
Advanced Dining Reservations and book experiences from the
Enchanting Extras Collection 60 days prior to your arrival. Add a little razzle-dazzle to your stay!
Belen, I hope I've been able to guide you on your path to a great vacation. If you have any more questions, please feel free to come back for another chat!
Happy planning!
Taylor
