Hi there, Lurline!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am thrilled to hEAR you want to plan a Disney Cruise Line vacation for next year! From my experience, if you have a date in mind and a large group traveling, booking as far in advance is the best plan! So, you are on the right track by researching and asking your questions ahead of time!
Currently Disney Cruise Line’s
schedule has been released through Summer 2020, so I anticipate that Winter 2020 itineraries will be part of the next group of announced itineraries! There is not an official release date, but I anticipate it will be coming out in late Spring -- so SOON!!
Since you have a large travel group, you may want to think about booking two adjoining staterooms. This may be the most cost-effective option for you since most staterooms have a maximum capacity of four or five. Two staterooms with a connecting door may be a better option than trying to reserve one of the few suites onboard that can accommodate your travel party. But, certainly, check with Disney Cruise Line once the schedules are released and discuss the best option for your needs. Since you'd like to visit Orlando as well, you may also want to consider a
Land and Sea vacation package which will include your transportation to Walt Disney World Resort before or after your adventure at sea.
So, keep your eyes and EARs on the
Disney Cruise Line website as well as the
Disney Parks Blog website where itinerary information will first be released! Then, once your vacation is booked, come back with all your questions so we can help make this the most magical Land and Sea vacation for your family!
