How would you plan an evening at MK with littles to include a fun dinner and great view of Wishes? Trying to plan and not sure of best locations and what is available!

    Hi Amy,

You have described my ideal plan for an evening visit to Magic Kingdom ~ a fun dinner and a great view of Wishes nighttime spectacular. If you are interested in table service dining I suggest having dinner at either The Crystal Palace or Be Our Guest Restaurant which are both located close to Cinderella Castle where you will want to watch Wishes later that evening. The Crystal Palace is a gorgeous restaurant in which the food is served buffet style while Pooh and the 100 Acre Woods gang stop by for a visit to each table while you dine. This restaurant is a "must-do" for my vacations, even when my husband and I are traveling without our children. Be Our Guest Restaurant it is a slightly more formal affair and the cuisine for dinner is chosen via menu service. The atmosphere is quite enchanting, just like its movie inspiration, and I also make sure to visit this restaurant at least once each vacation. Once you have decided upon a restaurant I strongly recommend making Advanced Dining Reservations when you are within your 180 days booking window since they are very popular.

As for a great location for viewing Wishes, I find anywhere in the castle forecourt will give you a great view of the evening spectacular. My favorite viewing spot is just to the right of the castle forecourt. This spot provides a little extra Pixie Dust because Tinker Bell flies overhead towards Cinderella Castle during the show. I can still remember the look on my children's faces the first time they saw our favorite Pixie in flight.

Have a Magical vacation and please let us know if you have any further questions.

    Blessings,
    Brenda
