We plan on going to Epcot on 1/6/25. We are not staying on Disney properties. It seems Epcot has extended hours that night, 9-11. The fireworks start at 9, are we able to stay for those or will we have to leave because we don't have extended hours?

    Hi Jennifer!

EPCOT in early January is a wonderful choice! By then, the holiday crowds will likely have thinned, giving you the chance to enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere and cooler Florida weather. It’s a great time to explore the park’s incredible attractions and global pavilions.

As for the Extended Evening Hours, these special hours are reserved exclusively for Guests staying at Disney Deluxe Resorts, Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts, or other select hotels. Unfortunately, if you’re not staying at one of these accommodations, you'll still be able to enjoy Luminous: The Symphony of Us at 9:00 PM, however after that concludes you will have to exit the Theme Park. Cast Members will verify eligibility for Extended Evening Hours at various points throughout the park.

That said, your EPCOT day doesn't have to end entirely when the fireworks finish! Disney Springs stays open later, offering a perfect spot to wind down your evening. You can shop for unique souvenirs, grab a late-night snack, or soak up the lively atmosphere. It’s a fantastic way to add a little more Disney magic to your day.

    Have the most magical time!
