    I plan to be at EPCOT March 18, the first day of the flower and garden show. Will there be any opening ceremonies? If so what time will they begin? We plan to arrive on this day and check into Pop Century. Will we need to hurry over to EPCOT?

    The EPCOT Flower and Garden Show is one of my favorite events of the year.  It always amazes me what magic they can make with the plants and flowers!

    There is not an official opening planned for the Flower and Garden show.  However, on the first Saturday (21st) there will be a ribbon cutting ceremony for the gardens at Pixie Hollow. There will be a princess and fairies and the director and producer of the new "Tinker Bell" movie will be there among the colorful topiaries of Tinker Bell and her friends.  Time has not been announced and this event will be filmed and used as extras on the DVD release.

    Don't forget the other wonderful events going on daily.  The Flower Power concerts are always fun and there will be many areas where you can learn about "going green".  There will be a PIrates Adventure Zone and Mickey's Magnificent Butterfly Garden amidst the incredible topiaries everywhere.  Be sure and stop by and get the 2009 poster signed by the artist, Heather French, every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. at Canada Garden retreat.
