Hi, we plan on eating at Big River Grill and Wilderness Trail resturants. What is the best way to ge to Mk or HS from there ? We will be driving and staying at the POP. Thank you for your help, it's our 1st WDW trip and we can't wait !

Congratulations on your first Walt Disney World vacation!

We recently stayed at the Pop Century Resort and used a combination of WDW transportation and our own vehicle to navigate around Walt Disney World.

For the Magic Kingdom, the bus transportation is a more efficient choice as you will be dropped up near the entrance to the park.

If you drive, you'll need to park at the Transportation and Ticket Center before boarding the monorail or ferry boat to the Magic Kingdom entrance.

We actually prefer to drive as we enjoy arriving via the monorail or ferry boat and then having our car available. Sometimes we like to hop to another park, return to our resort mid-day or go to a hotel for a meal.

We prefer driving to the Hollywood Studios although the bus takes about the same amount of time from Pop Century.

For dining at the Big River Grille, drive to the Boardwalk Resort and park.
For dining at the Trail's End Restaurant, drive to the Fort Wilderness Resort. You'll park at the Outpost Depot, then take the Orange, Purple or Yellow marked bus to the Settlement Depot.

If you are at the Magic Kingdom, you can also take a boat to Fort Wilderness!

We prefer driving around Walt Disney World but as first time visitors you may find it easier to take the WDW transportation via bus, boat, monorail, etc. Sometimes it's nice not to have to get in your car!

When going between resorts, it's almost always easier to drive as it saves you time having to transfer at a hub.
