We plan to eat at Sebastian's bistro. We want to ride the Skyliner to check it out as we staying near MK and won't need it specifically as a mode of transportation. Which Skyliner is closest to the restaurant, CBR or Riviera? How long of a walk?

Hey, Erin, and welcome back to planDisney. I am so glad you stopped by with a question about traveling "to and fro" at the "Place Where Dreams Come True." It is always a personal challenge to find the shortest route and the best Walt Disney World Resort Transportation is between two places especially if you are headed to eat at Sebastian's Bistro.

The two Disney Skyliner Stations are about the same distance but Disney's Riviera Resort is closest as long as you cut through Caribbean Cay Island. The Disney Skyliner Station at Disney's Riviera Resort is about 0.4 miles and takes about 9 minutes depending on your walking speed while the Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort Station is about 0.5 miles and 10-11 minutes away. The time difference is negligible if you are headed to Disney's Hollywood Studios and start at Disney's Riviera Resort Station because you will need to pass through Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort Station. If you are headed to EPCOT then the Riviera Resort Station is best.

There are two types of Disney Skyliner gondolas: wrapped and no-wrapped. We always prefer the non-wrapped because you get a clear view from the windows.

Erin, enjoy your delicious meal at Sebastian's Bistro and a bird's eye view while aboard Mickey's newest transportation option at Walt Disney World Resort. Please feel free to write me back directly with any follow-up questions or for more Disney vacation planning tips.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
