We plan to eat 2 QS meals and 1 sit down plus Mickey's BBQ and Cinderella's breaksfast at the castle and I'm sure 2 snacks a day. We don't really want do worry about using $ on the trip. Is it worth buying the DDP? Thanks!!

Hi Marni - I personally think that the Disney Dining Plan is a great option for many of the families visiting Walt Disney World, especially if you don't want to worry about using money on the trip (although you will still need to take care of gratuities, at a minimum).  The key to getting good value out of the plan is to make sure that you use every one of your meal credits in the best way possible.

I'm not sure how many days you are traveling for, but I'd recommend putting together a schedule by day of every meal, and then map out what meals you already have planned.  Then, make sure you are going to be able to use every credit.  For the deluxe plan, you get the most value if you use the majority of credits for table service, not quick service.  Therefore, you may be best going with the regular plan, if you have plans to eat at quick service locations.

    Have a great vacation!
