Hi Leonard, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
My family has spent the last couple of Easters at Walt Disney World. Perfect springtime weather, blooming flowers everywhere, and all kinds of holiday magic make it a truly
egg-scellent place to celebrate. Last Easter, we visited Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, and one of my favorite memories was seeing one of the campsites decked out with a line of life-sized Stormtroopers with Darth Vader leading the procession…all wearing bunny ears!
The Easter Bunny hasn’t yet shared all his plans for Easter 2019, so stay tuned to the
Disney Parks Blog for the latest news on Easter happenings around the parks, resorts and Disney Springs. You’ll also want to check at the front desk of
The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, as they will usually post a sign a few days before the big day, listing resort activities. There is usually some kind of candy scramble, and sometimes Disney characters greet Guests, all decked out in their Easter or springtime best. If you don’t see a sign, be sure to ask a Cast Member. It might also be fun to make an Easter dining reservation at
Trail's End Restaurant.
Have so much fun on your first camping adventure at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, Leonard! If you really want to get into the festive spirit, think about what kinds of decorations you could bring for your campsite. One of the best things about this resort is seeing the way its residents go all out for holidays, so be sure to take the time to walk around the resort on your Easter visit.
Wishing you a magical vacation and a
hoppy Easter,
Robyn
