We plan on driving to Disney World the morning that we will go to our first park. Since our hotel reservation at an eligible Disney Resort starts that day, but we won't check in until after some time in the parks, will we be able to access Early Entry?

    Hiya Rachel! Welcome to planDisney!

I'm so glad to hear that you will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort soon and that you're staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel! What a fabulous way to immerse yourself in the magic from the very moment you arrive! No matter what resort you have chosen, it's bound to be an incredible experience, with special Disney touches at every corner. Be sure to keep an eye out for those sneaky hidden Mickeys! You can even make a fun game out of it with your family and see who can find the most throughout your vacation. Whoever wins gets a special souvenir!

You know what they say, Rachel, the early bird gets the worm, so I'm glad to hear you will be arriving bright and early at your Disney Resorts Collection hotel to kick off your vacation! You'll be happy to hear that you do have access to all your resort's amenities and perks on the day of your arrival, no matter how early you get there. This includes the 30-minute early theme park entry available to Disney Resorts hotel Guests. Such great news, isn't it, Rachel? You will just need to make sure you have your theme park tickets and that you have made your Disney Park Pass Reservations for the first park you plan to visit when you arrive.

Now, I would recommend driving straight to your Disney Resorts Collection hotel to park when you arrive. There is overnight self-parking available at each hotel, though the price per evening varies by location. Then, you can head right into your hotel with your bags and drop them off with the helpful Cast Members at Bell Services, who will keep them safely stored until you are ready to head up to your room later in the day. This way, you don't have to worry about schlepping back to your car to grab your belongings after your long day of fun and adventure!

You might also want to utilize the awesome Direct-To-Room service available to you as a Disney Resorts Collection hotel Guest. Direct-To-Room service makes check-in a breeze, allowing you to skip the front desk line altogether by checking in via your My Disney Experience app! All you'll need to do is log into your account, open up the menu by clicking the horizontal lines on the bottom right corner, and select "Resort Hotel." From there, follow the prompts to complete your online check-in, and when your room is ready, you will get a notification on your phone with your room number and can head straight up whenever you are ready! You can even use your My Disney Experience app or Magic Band to open your door. How cool is that?!

Rachel, there are so many benefits to staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, and I'm so excited for you to be able to enjoy each one! As you continue planning your vacation, please don't hesitate to stop by again with any other questions you may have!

    Have a magical day!
